About the DFW Forum
The DFW Forum is collaboration between international education professionals from the DFW area in higher education institutions. The purpose of the DFW Forum is to offer support, tools, and networking opportunities for international advisors. Additionally, the DFW Forum will also serve as a communication avenue between U.S. Government Agencies and international advisors.
Membership of the DFW Forum is open to administrative personnel at higher education institutions that are responsible for providing immigration services to international students and scholars. The DFW Forum is a volunteer organization with zero budget. Registration fees are not charged to attend meetings, but attendees should prepare to cover parking and/or meal costs.
Meetings are hosted by institutions in the DFW area and would preferably alternate between Fort Worth, Dallas, and the Denton area.
The Leadership Team should be comprised of Primary/Designated School Officials (P/DSO) and/or Alternate/Responsible Officers (A/RO) from traditional universities, intensive English programs, medical institutions, or other institutions with international populations in primarily F-1, H-1, or J-1 visa holders. Leadership Team consists of: Past-Chair, Chair, Chair-Elect, and Chair-Elect-Elect (one year commitment in each position).
